Why Now?

I have been inspired by many of the events I have experienced and watched loved ones experience in my life, to inspire others. My goal is to motivate others to learn how to improve their life through their yoga practice as well as encourage them to make other positive changes in their lifestyle toward living a long and healthy life (which is still part of the teachings of yoga).

As quoted by my sister, Kelly Meloney:

“I have come to realize you have to live in the moment. No more “when”, “if”, “will”… Instead I am focusing my priority on “NOW”, “is”, “can”… “done”. You have to live in the moment. You have to live now. Three minutes ago…pshhh…I can’t even remember what happened and three minutes from now I can’t even tell you what is going to happen. NOW is what we live for.”

Yoga really came into my life at a time when I was in a lot of physical pain. I had 3 young children and didn’t have the ability to leave and take classes at a yoga studio. Much of my original yoga experience was self-taught at home through reading books and magazines. As I gained more pain relief and strength, I realized this was something I truly wanted to share with others. It made sense to me to begin a yoga and wellness business with a focus on outreach, teaching in places that create a comfortable and convenient environment for those looking to enrich their lives with a yoga practice.
